The key part here is the protocol used for the interfacing with the calculator: sending and receiving the user memory are. These are 2048 bytes - talk about data starved technology!! This can fit all the programs you need to have.

With this information, cunning fellow programers can create interfaces with better GUI for all environments - not just Windows commandline apps.
