After the success of the last two pacs (Finance and Aviation), the question arises: what next?
There as many ideas as users, but the feedback that we have received is the following:
- Statistics. The blueprint to follow is the same pac from HP41: basic statistics, some tests and normal and chi-square distributions. Howeer, we need to be clever because there were 30 labels in the original pac and we only have 25 at most.
- Surveying. This is also very popular - although personally I am not fighting to go forward. Anyone else wants to take the lead?
- Navigation: shares the big circle routines of the Aviation pac, and then there are some navigation routines using astronomical references, as well as date calculations.
- Electrical engineering pac: This one is closer to my heart - I am an EE that never worked as such. There is no clear HP41 equivalent. We have the circuit analysis pac, for starters; but we can add basic power and ohm law's formulæ - in the form of multi solution set with the function keys.
I will continue next week with other possibilities.
