The other, most awaited, new-old product from HP is the HP15c.
Some of you may have bought a unit from the US. The units had at least a bug in the firmware they were shipped with, and the failure rate of keys was not up to the standard of HP: Apparently, HP has withdrawn the units left from the channel, and then the unit is unavailable until new notice.
The units arranged for Europe (I have been told informally there are 3000 units) will come in two batch: a first one, air shipped, that should arrive end of November or beginning of December, that will make the Christmas tree gift of some of us. The rest of the production will come in a slow boat from China, to arrive on late January - beginning of February.
See now old and new:
(We have the page prepared to take orders but will not publish it before we have more solid delivery dates - we cannot risk another delay again!! please write to jose@thecalculatorstore if you want to reserve a unit - no money exchange so far)
WP34s
We have received a new batch of overlays, with much better key texture, optimized paper cut to avoid problems when applying it and with a choice of shift keys and division key (see it on the lower part, and excuse the picture quality):
As a result, we have restarted sales of the wp34s, running on a reflashed HP30b. Please remember that 10 € off each sale go to the project led By Paul Dale and Walter Bonin!
