Last Updated: July 17, 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how Wardrobe Organizer collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our mobile application ("App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal information is handled in a safe and responsible manner.
1. Information We Collect
The App collects the following types of information:
1.1 Personal Information
User-Provided Information: The App allows you to input information about your wardrobe items and outfits, including:
- Wardrobe name, item brand name, item type, price, purchase date, description, size, and images of clothing items or receipts.
- Outfit names and associated wardrobe item IDs to create outfit combinations.
User Preferences: The App stores whether you have launched it before using UserDefaults to manage the first-launch experience.
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
The App does not collect any data automatically, such as device identifiers, location data, or usage analytics, unless explicitly provided by you through the App's interface.
1.3 Photos and Camera Access
If you choose to add images or receipts to your wardrobe items, the App will request access to your camera or photo library. Any images you upload are stored locally on your device as part of the App’s data in UserDefaults.
2. How We Use Your Information
The information you provide is used solely to:
- Enable you to create, manage, edit, and view your wardrobe collections and outfits within the App.
- Store your wardrobe data (items, outfits, and images) locally on your device using UserDefaults for persistence.
- Display images you upload in the App’s interface for your reference.
- Allow you to copy wardrobe item details, outfit details, or wardrobe summaries to your device’s clipboard for sharing or personal use.
- Support sorting and organization features, such as sorting items by brand, type, or price.
We do not use your information for any purposes beyond the functionality of the App, such as marketing, analytics, or third-party sharing, unless explicitly stated below.
3. Data Storage and Security
Local Storage: All data you enter, including text and images, is stored locally on your device using UserDefaults. The App does not transmit your data to any external servers or cloud services.
Security Measures: We rely on the security features of iOS and UserDefaults to protect your data. However, you are responsible for securing your device to prevent unauthorized access to the App and its data.
Data Retention: Your data remains on your device until you delete the App or manually remove items, outfits, or wardrobes. We do not have access to or control over this data.
4. Sharing Your Information
No Third-Party Sharing: We do not share, sell, or transfer your personal information or images to any third parties, except as required by law or with your explicit consent.
Clipboard Sharing: If you choose to copy item details, outfit details, or wardrobe summaries to your device’s clipboard, you may share this information with others at your discretion. Be cautious when sharing sensitive information, such as prices or descriptions, as we are not responsible for how others use this data.
5. Your Choices and Rights
Access and Control: You have full control over the data you enter into the App. You can add, edit, delete, or organize wardrobe items and outfits at any time.
Photo/Camera Permissions: You can deny or revoke access to your camera or photo library through your device’s settings. If access is denied, the App will not be able to add images to your wardrobe items.
Data Deletion: To remove all data stored by the App, you can delete the App from your device. This will erase all collections, items, and images stored in UserDefaults. If not, you can remove data manually using the in-app tools.
6. Third-Party Services
The App uses Apple’s PhotosUI and UIImagePickerController frameworks to access your camera or photo library for adding images. These services operate locally on your device, and the images are not transmitted to us or any third parties. The App does not integrate with any other third-party services, analytics tools, or advertising networks.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App’s functionality or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted within the App or on our website (if applicable), with the "Last Updated" date revised accordingly.
